About Haykenq's Name

This handsome man is Hayk [haik], the forefather of the Armenians. Armenians call themselves [Hai], and they call their country Hayastan [haiastan], both after Hayk. Hayk was believed to be the son of Haya [haia], the God of wisdom and waters. He was wise, courageous and caring for people. According to legend, Hayk fought with Bell, the mighty dictator of Babylon, and won over him with one shot of his three-sided arrow. He liberated his people and established an independent Armenian statehood for the nation to prosper and grow.
So, our company's name is "Haykenq", meaning people of Hayk or Hayk's successors and descendants. And as such, we continue to live in his land following his traditions, and we want to share Armenia's wisdom and beauty with people from all around the world.
